Hi there and thank you for your interest in this 10 day vegan challenge.
My colleague Lorna Flores (Chef, Nutrition and Functional Health Coach) and I have created delicious menus with easy to make recipes for you and your whole family.
Neither Lorna nor I are vegan! How ever we believe in experimenting with different types of clean eating protocols and in using a vegan approach as an effective tool for cleansing and detoxifying.
We both believe in CLEAN EATING TO THE CORE! This means mainly choosing whole foods and the best quality ingredients possible, avoiding preservatives, food coloring and all the toxins potentially found in processed foods and conventionally raised and processed meats.
Even if you already eat healthy and clean, allowing the body to rest from animal protein can be a very beneficial experience! We allow the body to clean out old protein debris in the cells and any toxin residues from even the most organic and well raised animals.
Where ever you are in your health journey ( vegan, vegetarian, omnivore) following this program will be an excellent detoxification strategy. Also consider this: most of us eat excessive amounts of protein on a regular basis; clearing out old protein residue is ideal for health and longevity purposes.
So, if your calling is to be here , there is a reason for it!
How does the program work?
Four days before it begins we will create whatsapp groups consisting of 10-15 people and we will send a manual with detailed instructions, menus, recipes and more. Aside from this, we will be guiding you via the chat every single day, answering your questions , sending educational tips , giving you substitutions for anything you don’t like on the menu etc… This is a totally hands on approach to coaching and we will work closely with each and every one of you to make this a great experience! WE WILL ALSO MEET VIA ZOOM TO ANSWER QUESTIONS AND MORE!
You DO NOT have to follow any type of schedule, just come to the chat when ever you need, and share your food, thoughts, struggles etc… We will be there to guide you every step of the way!
